Horrific Lens I can't see through with a 20-25 vision & having worked for Eye Surgeons That's A Huge Mistake!!!

I purchased these glasses during a pandemic, which Is Considered an "Extenuating Circumstance under Fed &; State laws! The Rx. is current and Unexpired! > I had to get a re-refract and pay for it Twice at an optometrist and Ophthalmologist separately!! I went back to the store for a refund and was given a story of, "I'm sorry, our policy is 100 days for a refund. But if you call us on Monday a manager can help you." When I asked for the corporate number, politely even wearing a mask; I was not given this information at all! No manager called back, even though I gave my contact information to reach out to me on Monday! When I got to the store and was trying to Read the sign on the door to see if it was open, the 3 young ladies inside watched me and didn't come to check to see if I needed help reading their door or coming inside. Mind you, they were sitting close together. Sadly, I was wearing the glasses that were purchased from their store! I walked into the store that had no customers and one of the young ladies said "Oh, we weren't sure you were coming into the store!" This is why for some, customer service Truly Is A Big Deal! For the many visits I did go back during their "policy time", Not one time did they check the lenses to make sure the diopters are in the correct spot as I sat in front of them! My vision acuity is 20/25 Corrected. There is no reason why I Should not be seeing clearly and sharply. Especially, knowing that I worked in Every Dept. within an Eye Surgeon's office! I had to travel with a flight and hotel and get a 3rd Confirmation from my former Employer during 2020! They not only checked with diopter machine and actually Marked where the corrections should be....where my pupils Actually Line up in the lenses! I don't have droopy eyelids or problems with my peripheral vision! Paying for travel/hotel/transportation/food for Bogus lenses I can't see Through....Is a crime! I am Demanding a Corporate Individual Reach out to me to Refund my money! I don't want to hear about I can re-do them again: I want my money refunded to my credit card I used that is not Expired. You can and ask which card when you phone me or email me. I still have the receipts that actually showed me who did the write up for the glasses and then tried a couple of times more. Your staff needs more Information and Training before you are Completely out of business for the shady dealings with individuals who may or may not be their age or look like them! I want to be clear to consumers, don't waste your money, time or a quick fix. I also found out that their mark-up amount is Staggering from my former Eye Surgeon's Office after I had to re-travel back there. Buyer's Beware!

I recently had an eye exam and purchased glasses from them. I felt the eye exam was very rushed. When I tried on the glasses in the store they seemed ok. When I tried using them for the computed at home I could not read and it seemed like my eyes were not working...

Ordered glasses no answer at store

Really pissed off

I'm 62 years old and have never been so humiliated and disrespected ( Without a physical altercation ) in all my life ! The optometrist was so Rude and condescending, it took everything i had to not slap him off his high horse. It is hard for me to believe they could hire anyone so unprofessional. BEWARE Dr. Paterno OF VICTOR !

Poor customer service

Scheduled an eye exam. Received three e-mail reminders during the week leading up to the exam in which I confirmed the appointment. Drove thirty minutes to the appointment only to be told it had been cancelled and they had tried to contact me by phone.

Went terrible when I called the Empire visionworks store I purchased the glasses from. They told me almost nobody takes care of their glasses so basically I have to throw them away and buy new ones, no matter how well I've maintained them(meticulous)

The overpriced "better coating" they got me to purchase for an extra $110 flaked off in several spots and made it very dangerous to see thru while driving. I called them and they basically told me off. Quote: "all glasses break down when they are 5 years old and we can't polish the lenses"

Replace the defective coated lenses with non-coated lenses or send my current lenses to be resurfaced and/or polished

Bad customer service

We called in to schedule an appointment and the appointment was made and before arriving we called it to explain that we were running behind once we arrived we were greeted by a rude worker who then told us we didn't have an appointment and there was no grace period for being late even tho we called ahead he then proceeds to tell us that no one can see us today because the were too busy even tho they were visibly empty for the day

On hold for over a hour & hung up on .

Spending half the day trying to get someone. Went to a store and, was rudely told to call! Corperate gives you the run around. If this is how they operate- rude, inconsiderate, not customer oriented, then, it is best to realize that this is how they will treat your eyes!!

Frustration with Automated Phone Answering system and Online Chat

6 times today trying to get in touch with the Irondequoit, NY store for a referral to a specialist. I have waited at least 20 minutes on each call and on 2 occasions have been cut off. Tried the online chat and that is frozen. I have been a Visionworks customer for over 20 years but will go elsewhere if the contact system does not improve. not improve. 20 y move e

Terrible customer service Maple Grove Minnesota

I had my exam scheduled fir June 11/2021 ordered contact lenses and a pair of glasses. June 16tb I received a text that my order was ready. I went to the store to pick the glasses and the contact lenses. I had to wait an hour before being told my contact lenses were not there. I questioned that as I showed them the text I had received that morning. Its 08/2021 still have not received my glasses and contacts. I have called the store to schedule my contact lenses training to no avail. Horrible service ever!
